Northumbria Healthcare Manufacturing and Innovation Hub is celebrating receiving three ISO certifications.
Northumbria Healthcare Manufacturing and Innovation Hub, a PPE factory set up by Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has been awarded three different ISO certifications by the British Assessment Bureau including ISO 9001:2015 (quality management), ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management) and ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety).
By meeting the extensive criteria of these standards, Northumbria Healthcare Manufacturing and Innovation Hub proves its commitment to delivering a quality service to clients, protecting the environment and providing a safe and healthy workplace for all staff.

The ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management) certification is a framework to manage the immediate and future impacts of Northumbria Healthcare Manufacturing and Innovation Hub’s products, services and processes. Completing this certification, clearly demonstrates to our clients, staff and stakeholders that our environmental management system meets industry-specific standards. We are constantly striving to protect our environment and prevent our company from causing negative impacts on our ecosystem.
The ISO 45001:2018 (health & safety management) certification is an international standard for the health and safety to protect staff and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases. Completing this certification, demonstrates our commitment to improving the safety of our staff and visitors, reducing workplace risks and creating a safer working environment.
